China leads tourism into Oz
China is leading the growth in travel to Australia, with a 63 percent increase in visitors for January this year compared to the same month last year.
Figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics showed that the Chinese market has topped the number of UK visitors into Australia with up to 453,800 Chinese travellers arriving in Oz last year.
Arrivals from Hong Kong in January were also up by 26 percent compared to the same time last year while travellers from Malaysia rose by up to 25 percent.
